Still life

Oil on Canvas. 40 x 50cm

The shameless ghosts

Oil on Canvas. 80cm x 60cm This painting is inspired by the mind and what I dream of in a lonely place.

The lonely head

Oil on Canvas. 40cm x 30cm Symbolizing the hollowness and loneliness of the lone head.

Skin & Bones

Chinese ink, threads and newpaper. 80cm x 30cm This painting is an extension in my study of death and grief. In this artwork I want to showcase how the human vessel looks after they die- as a symbolism that death does not discriminate anyone. This is inspired by the sudden death of my friend and answers my natural inquisition about how we look like when we die. I always question how the physical body looks like and why we fear dying?

Shaffiya zurami

Oil on Newspaper. 70 x100 cm In this artwork, I attempted to use Sigmund Freud's model of grief to understand and analyze my feelings towards my friend's sudden departure as I tried to create artwork using pscyhoanalysis method.

Courage

Oil on Canvas. 64 cm x 64 cm

After life

Charocal, Chinese ink, pastel and Gouache. 29.5cm x 21cm General inquisition about death.

Itaewon Halloween Crowd Crush

The verdict for the dead

Acrylic on Canvas. 60cm x 45cm A grim reminder that death is always lingering at a corner and we will all eventually die. As an attempt to cope with my grief, I try to picture how my friend is at in the afterlife.
