Hello!
My name is Xin Yi (2003, Singapore) and I am an aspiring artist/curator/educator interested in how art expresses and impacts individuals and communities. My focus on creative and community-based initiatives reflects my commitment to fostering connections within the art world while continuing to develop connections that inspire my artistic practice.β

βAt an early age, I developed a keen interest in art and studied ‘ O’ and ‘N’ levels which was further honed during my 3-year Diploma in Fine Art at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. Followed by my further study for a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Fine Arts at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and alongside the University of Arts London. Through the years, I have gained valuable experience working and interning at galleries such as Gallery1819, and LivingwithArt. and volunteering with the Singapore Art Museum. In addition, I had worked in Affordable Art Fair 2025 as a part-time Fair Assistant in assisting payment counter and serving the customers. In April 2025, I have interned at 3Pumpkins to understand more of community-based art, through the experience I learned to interact with community with care and understanding.

I also collaborated with her peers for Central Public Library in 2023, commissioning a 24 x 1-meter mural for the National Library Board and numerous in-site and off-site exhibitions at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, and the University of Arts London.
